Goa is popular for its places of worship and World Heritage-listed architecture. Goa is frequented by both international and domestic tourists for it white sand beaches, night life, casinos and exotic cuisine. The year end is the most busy period with Christmas celebrations, Weddings and year-end parties hosted all over.
Viva Goa - Harajuku serves a fusion of authentic goan and north Indian cuisine. Goan curries are prepared using a combination of spices same as in Goa. The popular signature Goan Fish Curry is a mix of grinded spices and coconut boiled with prawns or slices of fish. Fish Tava Fry is a slice of King Fish (Surmai) known as Sawara in Japanese marinated with a delicate mix of rechado masala and shallow fried. Besides, our north Indian cuisine includes tandoor based roti, nan and tandoori chicken that are especially popular among our Japanese customers. North Indian delicacies also include a variety of Vegetarian curries that can be fully customized for our Vegan customers.
Viva Goa Indian Cafe was established in Sept 2014 with a goal to introduce and popularize authentic Goan Cuisine for the first time in Japan. Having successfully run since, the goal has been achieved and Viva Goa Cafe is now a unique fusion of Goan and North Indian delicacies.
